Do you have issues with vandalism in your building or apartment community? We offer a solid metal one piece construction in aluminum, bronze or brass that meets current ADA compliance requirements. This option ensures no chipping, cracking or loose braille beads. This unique production process makes metal ADA signs extremely weather and vandal resistant.
What is the purpose of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) signs?
ADA signs are required to make buildings accessible to people with visual disabilities. It is important to remember that this includes more than just blind people. Approximately 2.5 million Americans are legally blind. There are also millions more who suffer from limited vision caused by glaucoma or macular degeneration. The intent of ADA law is to make sure that signs are manufactured with high contrast, tactile (raised) letters and braille for optimal readability.
