EV Stations Emerging in Western Washington

Every year, transportation wastes 80 percent of energy as heat while releasing vast amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. As a consumer, one way to have a direct impact on reducing ones carbon footprint is by driving an electric, rather than gas-powered car.

Electric vehicles create zero emissions, and are as much as three times as efficient as gas engines. They are safe, compact, quiet, convenient, and durable. Battery technology has improved the range of the average electric car by 80-100 miles.

Charging station infrastructure has exploded across the nation, and in the Greater Seattle area alone there are some 400 stations.
