Signage Spotlight: Plaques
Plaques are often used for commemorating a person, place or event. There are two main styles to choose from when selecting a plaque or engraved sign. Cast metal plaques or chemically etched are the two most common production methods.
Cast metal plaques are typically made of either aluminum or bronze. These plaques can be made with a variety of finishes and mounting options. They have unsurpassed durability and will last for generations to come.
Simple logo details are able to be reproduced with cast plaques.
While plaques are often produced with a black or brown background there are many background color options that can be chosen and will work well to fit your brand or school colors!
Cast plaques are able to be produced with Braille lettering as well.
Etched Plaques are a great option when you need to show fine detail and crisp text. The etching process permits exact reproduction of artwork for interior or exterior applications.
Chemically etched plaques are typically made from stainless steel or bronze.
Our plaques can be made with photo images. An image can be permanently engraved into your plaque using either a photo relief, full-color Giclee, or chemical photo etching (halftone) process.
Etched plaques can also be curved, which allows them to be installed flush to surfaces like flagpoles.
